An 11-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly setting multiple fires at a home in his neighborhood. There were people located inside the house at the time of the incident.
The Chattanooga Fire Department received a call regarding several fires outside a home with a possible vehicle and dumpster fire. Once authorities arrived, they discovered a car on fire in the driveway and an additional fire in a trash can that was up against the residence. A third fire was located on the porch, in a cooler.
The child reportedly lives in the area but not at the home where the fires were located. The child’s motives are currently unknown. His relationship with the people at the residence is also unknown.

THE MORNING MARKETS
|
This morning Dow futures dipped slightly after beating a big milestone yesterday. The average cracked 30,000 for the first time, with over 400 points in gains, yesterday, tracking for its biggest monthly increase since 1987.
“The Dow passing 30,000 represents the achievement of an arbitrarily-set milestone, but it also captures the sentiment of the moment for investors,” CUNA Mutual Group’s Chief Market Strategist, Scott Knapp, said.
The gains reflect investor positivity around the potential vaccines, as well as increased clarity in the political realm.
