The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended the search for six missing people who were reported as missing after their boat capsized off Florida’s Atlantic coast. The investigation began Friday morning when a boater rescued a Jamaican national. The rescued national said there were six others with him when their 18-foot vessel overturned off Fort Pierce. The boaters were en route from Bimini, Bahamas. Their destination is unknown.

“The decision to suspend a search-and-rescue case is never one we come to lightly,” Capt. JoAnn Burdian, commander of Coast Guard Sector Miami, said in a statement issued Sunday. “We offer our deepest sympathies to the friends and families of those involved during this difficult time.”

Better than more stimulus money…It seems like so many people are pinning their hopes on more stimulus money from the new administration. We’ll see what happens with that, but…
Personally, I don’t wait for stimulus deals.
I believe in taking charge of my own future.
I think you should take charge of YOUR own future too.
That’s why I’ve laid out a step by step,“copy and paste” system that makes it easy to execute possible winning trades.
This “side job”  is something ANYONE can do with just $500 to start and potentially turn it into BIG paydays worth many times any amount of stimulus money the government can give you.

With this “side job” I show traders exactly how to access a little-known portal in their brokerage accounts to potentially amass a quick fortune.

Futures slumped early this morning, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 fell 0.1%, and the Nasdaq slipped 0.2%.

Meanwhile shares of Verizon and Chevron got a boost during premarket trading this morning after investors learned that Warren Buffet’s company, Berkshire Hathaway, bought large stakes in each company.

Investors today will also have their eyes on the January retail report, out this morning, as well as earnings reports from Hilton, Owens Corning, Wingstop, Analog Devices, and Nabors.

“Our preference for stocks over bonds – supported by low-interest rates – is one of our highest conviction recommendations for 2021,” one strategist said. “Several segments of the equity market – particularly the energy sector and banks – offer higher yields than traditional high-quality bonds and offer attractive capital appreciation potential as interest rates rise.”

We’ve seen some unprecedented winter weather over the last few days, with millions of Americans without power due to a devastating winter storm. And if you’re ever caught in a similar situation, there are a few things you can do to stay warm during a power outage.

First, resist the urge to use any sort of outdoor heating source like your car, a grill, etc. You’ll end up filling your home with deadly carbon monoxide.

The best way to stay warm during an emergency is by closing off rooms. It’s much easier to keep one or two rooms warm than your entire house. If you don’t have doors that you can shut, hang up blankets.

Gather everyone in your household into one room and layer up with plenty of clothes and blankets. It may not be warm and toasty, but it will keep you alive. And make sure to eat to fuel your body and keep your temperature up.

It can be easy to underestimate the danger of losing power during a very cold winter, so be sure to act fast and do everything you can to stay warm!

The United States first got introduced to three very famous artists on this day

When February 17, 1931 rolled around, America probably had no idea that their nation would be shocked by a changing perception of beauty that would have a profound effect on not only artists but also collectors.

It was the International Exhibition of Modern Art – which we later just dubbed the Armory Show – that sparked the first dawn of Modernism here in the States.

In fact, it was the first time the phrase “avant-garde” was ever used to describe painting or sculptures. And when it opened in the evening, over 4,000 guests were milling around the rapidly created galleries in the 68th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue.

While two-thirds of the showcased artists were American, it was really the Europeans that were causing such a stir.

Here are the European artists America first discovered on this day, and how they would shape the future of our nation right up to now.
