American Youth Football announced Gerrell Williams’ ban on Thursday, days after the Savannah football coach was captured in a video hitting a player. Williams will not be allowed at the 2020 National Championships and will be prohibited from entering the venue.

Earlier this week, AYF officials were provided with a cellphone video of a coach – later identified as Gerrell Williams – behaving in violation of the AYF Code of Conduct. Williams has issued an apology in a Facebook Live video.
