The Democrats have a small group of far-left leaders who make it their business to be an extremely vocal corner of Congress. These women, affectionately nicknamed “The Squad” by their supporters, include high-profile members like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Ilhan Omar — and none of them are strangers to controversy.
The latest battle comes as Omar recently compared the United States and Israel to terrorist organizations Hamas and the Taliban.
Politicians across the nation have leapt to criticize Omar for what many believe was an uncalled-for remark, but her fellow Squad members were equally eager to support her.
