Walrus hijacks and sinks boats off the shores of Britain and Ireland

Do you think anyone’s boat insurance covers theft by walrus? “Wally,” as the walrus has been dubbed by his victims, has found himself far adrift from his natural habitat.

Off the Britain and Ireland coasts, Wally has made a name for himself primarily by sinking boats. Due to his heft, when he heaves himself onto boats, he sometimes capsizes the ones unable to support his weight. Wally is looking for a place to rest, as there are no ice floes where he has mysteriously appeared.

It’s unclear how Wally got so far from home, but residents aren’t in any hurry to disturb him despite his rampage of destruction. And besides, the photos are really cute.
