President Joe Biden is looking for support in Donald Trump territory

President Joe Biden made a bold move on Wednesday as he looked for public support in an unlikely place.

While trying to drum up support for his new multi-trillion dollar infrastructure plan, Biden ventured into Donald Trump territory. Biden gave remarks at McHenry Community College, which is located in an Illinois county that Trump won both times in the last two presidential elections.

Since the White House doesn’t expect to get much bipartisan support in the political arena for the full infrastructure plan, Biden’s team has now focused its efforts on drumming up as much bipartisan public support as it can.

What else do we know about Biden’s bold move that came on the heels of Mitch McConnell’s scathing words about Republicans banding together to try to derail the plan?
