Tesla has a big AI event coming up, and the company is expected to announce new AI technology initiatives as well as recruit robotics and artificial intelligence experts as employees.
During the event, CEO Elon Musk and top Tesla executives are expected to provide updates regarding the new full self-driving beta version 9, the latest hardware and software programs, a new supercomputer, and test drive info for the Model S Plaid.
Aside from the updates, Musk says the main purpose of the event is to recruit new robotics and AI talent to work for the company due to Tesla’s high turnover rate. So why is there such high turnover at Tesla, and how do officials expect the event to woo new talent?
