Audi released details and images of a new concept convertible roadster, and it is unlike anything the company has ever designed before. The new futuristic and radical vehicle could be signaling a new design direction the company is moving towards.
The new vehicle, referred to as the Skysphere, has a Batmobile-like design with pointed edges, a low profile, and some futuristic features. In the photos released by Audi, the car has quite a sinister look. In addition to the new design, the concept car is also fully-electric.
Audi engineers completely overhauled the interior of the vehicle, as it features a fully-digital dashboard from end-to-end and has an innovative new steering wheel. The car is also said to feature self-driving technology, though the vehicle is not ready to drive itself just yet.
