Why are Joe Biden's remarks to a small business owner being attacked?

President Joe Biden’s off the cuff remarks have been garnering a lot of attention lately, with his latest comments frustrating some small business owners and GOP leaders.

During a recent town hall style event, a restaurant owner informed the President that he was struggling to hire and retain workers to help keep his business afloat. Biden responded to the small business owner by saying he “is really going to be in a bind for a little while.”

The remarks left many in the small business industry fuming and brought about sharp remarks from prominent GOP leaders.

“I worry that the president is still in denial about how harmful these labor shortages are to the survival of our small businesses,” said Rep. Kevin Brady, a Republican from Texas.
