Walmart is pushing more benefits to keep workers through the holidays

After Walmart’s huge announcement about paying 100% college tuition and books for its employees, many people thought it was the most Walmart would do in a bid to keep workers.

But Walmart isn’t done yet.

The retail giant is giving warehouse workers additional weekly pay to encourage them to remain during the tight labor market and as the holiday season starts to ramp up.

For some workers, this new incentive could equate to an additional $200 a week. The extra pay began this month and will continue through the fiscal year at the majority of distribution and fulfillment centers.
