The Movement for Black Lives, which has been touted by progressive Democrats like New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has now honored multiple convicted cop killers. The Movement for Black Lives is not the same as the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, though the groups are linked as BLM falls under the Movement for Black Lives.
The broad coalition of liberal groups sent a text message to supporters last week saying, “Black August is when we commemorate the lives of our fallen freedom fighters and political prisoners, prisoners of war, and exiles.”
The text message added, “We honor their sacrifice.” But then it got much more questionable.
