Biden throttled our energy production. Now he wants help for rising prices

You know, if I weren’t footing a very expensive gas bill right now, I’d make a joke about Biden’s energy flip-flop being really awkward. As it is, I’m sure I speak for most Americans when I say that Biden’s energy agenda is going a little haywire.

Here’s what’s been going on: Right-leaning critics of the current administration say that Biden’s energy policies have effectively throttled our oil production. That means that before, the U.S. was basically self-sufficient when it came to oil.

But now, as I’m sure you can see every time you fill up your tank and maybe cry a little bit, energy prices are soaring due to Biden’s limitations on federal oil and gas sales. You can read about his logic behind that here. To quickly sum it up, most of the reasoning has to do with decreasing our carbon footprint.

In the meantime, he’s asking OPEC for help with oil and saying other nations aren’t doing enough… I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
