Phyllis Pena returned home from an early morning trip to the store when she saw a man looking into her teenage daughter’s window. Pena’s daughter was not in the room at the time. The man, identified as 19-year-old Zane Hawkins, took off as soon he saw Pena.

Pena had called the police. Police dashcam video caught the moment that Pena tackled Hawkins to the ground. Her daughter helped hold Hawkins down until an officer approached to arrest him. Neither Pena nor her children knew the suspect. “It’s not very often that we have somebody that actually steps in, puts themself in harm’s way to assist in apprehending somebody,” Sgt. Roy Welch told KPRC.

Hawkins was taken into custody. He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.

Better than more stimulus money…It seems like so many people are pinning their hopes on more stimulus money from the new administration. We’ll see what happens with that, but…
Personally, I don’t wait for stimulus deals.
I believe in taking charge of my own future.
I think you should take charge of YOUR own future too.
That’s why I’ve laid out a step by step,“copy and paste” system that makes it easy to execute possible winning trades.
This “side job”  is something ANYONE can do with just $500 to start and potentially turn it into BIG paydays worth many times any amount of stimulus money the government can give you.

With this “side job” I show traders exactly how to access a little-known portal in their brokerage accounts to potentially amass a quick fortune.

The market was trading slightly lower this morning, with each of the three major indexes poised to open in the red. That said, the benchmarks are still tracking for gains this week, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.9%, the S&P 500 increasing 0.8%, and the Nasdaq Composite rising 1.2%.

After sharing a magical earnings report, Disney saw its shares increase over 2% in overnight trading.

“Between the ongoing medical and economic improvements, markets continue to expect a much better 2021 and that has supported prices,” said Commonwealth Financial Network’s Brad McMillan of the overall market picture. “Fourth-quarter earnings are coming in well ahead of expectations, and analysts are now adjusting their 2021 earnings estimates upwards.”

We all know the importance of working out, but what are the side effects of not being active? As it turns out, they’re a lot uglier than you think.

Aside from weight gain, not working out can have even more serious and scary health effects. One of those is fatty liver. A buildup of fat in the liver is problematic for your overall health, as it is shown to increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

Not leading an active life can also affect your mental health. People who don’t exercise tend to be more depressed and experience more emotional issues. What are the other surprising side effects of not working out?

There’s no doubt that music is powerful. It plays a vital role in every culture on earth. But can it have an impact on your mind beyond being a form of entertainment? If used correctly, music can help you become more productive.

According to research, moderate levels of background noise can boost your productivity while working. And if that noise is music, the impact is more noticeable as it allows us to become fully immersed in the task at hand.

And if you listen to music you genuinely enjoy while completing a task, you’re more likely to develop a positive mindset while focusing on your work. Music has also been known to inspire many people while they toiled away at their tasks.

But the type of music, volume levels, and audio quality of the music you’re listening to while working can alter the productivity-boosting powers of music.

A genius offers a grim warning about the hydrogen bomb

On this day back in 1950, the first edition of the Today with Mrs. Roosevelt show premiered. It would be a weekly show hosted by Eleanor Roosevelt. And her very first guest was Albert Einstein.

During his time on-air, Einstein spoke out against the work the US was doing on the hydrogen bomb. It had been announced two weeks earlier by President Harry Truman.

And Einstein didn’t waste time mincing words, either.

“If successful,” Einstein warned, “radioactive poisoning of the atmosphere, hence the annihilation of any life on earth, has been brought within the range of technical possibilities.”

The next morning, The Washington Post reported on the interview. Which resulted in the infamous J. Edgar Hoover starting a full domestic intelligence report on the famous genius.

At the same time, INS began an examination into whether he could be deported.

Here’s all of the fallout of this interview.
