These new Google Meet features will help you take control of your meetings

Google Meet is rolling out a bunch of new features that can help you take better control of your online meetings.

The big update that all Google Meet users can look forward to, regardless of if they have a regular or Workspace account, is the ability to assign 25 co-hosts per meeting. This new feature allows more people to help run and monitor meetings, such as muting unruly participants and controlling who can enter the meeting.

Google Workspace account holders will be getting a new Quick Access exclusive feature that means meetings will not start before the host joins. Additionally, the feature allows hosts to block anonymous users who try to join the meeting, as well as set up an invitation-only meeting that allows only invited participants to join.

What other changes are rolling out with Google Meet and when will the new features be available?
