Robert Durst appears frail in new mug shot from hospital bed

New York real estate scion Robert Durst, who was recently convicted of murder, posed for a new mug shot from a hospital bed after being transferred to a California prison hospital this week.

Durst, 78, is recovering from COVID and appears frail and thin lying in a hospital bed in the image, according to TMZ.

Last month, Durst was found guilty of the 2000 murder of his longtime friend Susan Berman in Los Angeles. Berman had allegedly threatened to go public with details over the disappearance of Durst’s wife Kathie Durst, a medical student who vanished in Westchester in 1982.

Earlier this month, the Westchester County DA charged Durst with the 1982 murder of his wife, Kathie Durst.

Durst was transferred Wednesday from the L.A. County jail system to the California Health Care Facility in Stockton, which treats sick inmates. Durst was on a ventilator, according to reports.

Durst famously appeared to confess to murder in “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.”

“Killed them all, of course,” Durst was caught muttering to himself on a live mic. Durst had said that he was high on drugs when he made the confession.
