President Joe Biden has been known to put his foot in his mouth from time to time when he doesn’t stick to the script. And while this is a problem most journalists and media outlets have acknowledged, it hasn’t seemed to be too much of a problem for the White House and others, until now.
Biden’s off the cuff remarks are starting to ruffle feathers and are becoming a more frequent public relations issue for the White House. A prime example of this growing fire was the President’s remarks about Facebook earlier this week when he literally said the social media platform was killing people.
His comments drew intense backlash from Facebook, other social media platforms, and even the public. The White House scrambled to save face and walk back his comments, but the effort proved to be difficult.
