Samsung just unveiled a new sustainability plan that will ramp up the company’s “green” initiatives. Under the new plan, the tech giant will make phones with ocean plastic.
With ocean plastic being a huge problem, being able to harvest it and make technology from it would be a huge feat. The new plan is being dubbed “Galaxy for the Planet.”
During its big Unpacked event this week, Samsung explained that it not only plans to develop and make the phones made from ocean plastic, but it will also eliminate all of the single-use plastic from its smartphone packaging by 2025.
