How a British woman punched a crocodile repeatedly to save her twin sister

When a crocodile tried to eat Melissa Laurie in a Mexican lagoon this weekend, her twin Georgia came to the rescue, throwing punches in an effort to save her sister’s life.

The women, 28, had been swimming in bioluminescent water in Oaxaca at the time of the attack. The animal had apparently dragged Melissa into the water, and Georgia dragged her sister back to the boat. That’s when she started her adrenaline-fueled attack on the crocodile.

Both women are now in the hospital, healing from injuries they sustained during the incident. Melissa is now in a medically induced coma.

What else do we know about the situation so far?
