The search for Koby Lee Francis is still ongoing. Francis is wanted for shooting a Pennsylvania police officer three times in handcuffs. Authorities are under scrutiny over how Francis had the gun he used in the shooting despite being arrested, searched, and placed in the back of a police SUV patrol vehicle.
Investigators also struggled to explain how Francis managed to ambush the officer. He was handcuffed from behind when he was taken into custody. There is security footage showing the incident.
The wounded police officer has been identified as Gerasimos “Jerry” Athans, a four year veteran of the McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Police Department. Athans is in stable condition.

The markets were mixed this morning, after a volatile day yesterday. Dow futures were down 30 points, while the S&P 500 futures hardly moved. The Nasdaq 100 futures had increased.
Last night Congress finally passed a stimulus relief package and funding bill. Still, even as investors anticipated that move yesterday, the stress about the virus mutation in the U.K. was what really held everyone’s attention.
“I don’t think that there’s a smooth, easy straight-line story on this,” said the U.S. equity strategist for Credit Suisse, Jonathan Golub. “I think for the next three or four months, the reopening process is going to be sloppy.”
Multiple studies around the world reveal that listening to certain types of music can boost your productivity. Of course, the effectiveness depends on how you listen to music while working.
First and foremost, classical music seems to have the most significant impact on our brains while listening and working on a task at the same time. Of course, not a lot of people enjoy that style of music. Even if you think Mozart or Bach are boring, give their genre a try before dismissing it outright.
In general, up-tempo music can boost your productivity, so long as the volume isn’t too loud or the song’s lyrical structure isn’t so complicated that it distracts you from what you’re doing. What’s important is that you’re able to enjoy what’s playing without getting pulled away from the task at hand.
Snacking is often considered an unhealthy habit, but there are actually several healthy snacking options that can help you lose weight.
Having a snack in the afternoon is proven to help you shed the pounds. Studies show that morning snackers tend to eat more throughout the day and are more susceptible to weight gain. Those who snack in the afternoon are less likely to overeat and gain weight and are more likely to munch on healthy snacks.
Another snacking hack that can help you adopt healthier eating habits is to use your non-dominant hand while snacking. Studies show that people who use their non-dominant hand to eat snacks end up eating far less than those who use their dominant hand. Are there other healthy snacking habits you need to try?
You can’t think of dancing without thinking of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
But, if it hadn’t been for this day back in 1932, that might not be the case. That’s because that was the day of the premier of the first movie the lightfooted pair collaborated on.
Although it was their first picture together, Ginger Rogers already had more than 20 films under her belt. But Fred Astiare only had one, the 1933 musical Dancing Lady.
“The main point of Flying Down to Rio is the screen promise of Fred Astaire. That should be about as important to Radio as the fact that this picture is not destined for big grosses, because the studio may eventually do things with this lad.”
