Hackers are threatening to release data from this major ransomware attack

The company Gigabyte is reportedly the latest victim of a major ransomware attack. Gigabyte is a PC manufacturing company that makes PC parts and even has its own line of laptops.

A ransomware scheme known as RansomEXX attacked the company recently and was able to give hackers quite a bit of important data and information. Though costly data was stolen, the attack did not halt Gigabyte’s production systems.

Though production continued during the attack, many of the company’s internal servers are currently down, as hackers were able to pull some sections of Gigabyte’s website offline, including its customer support section.

What kind of data were the hackers able to get their hands on and when are they threatening to release it if Gigabyte doesn’t meet their demands?
