The summer heat got to a motel patron, who shot and killed the owner of the establishment during an argument over a pool pass.
The proprietor, 30-year-old Zeshan Chaudhry, apparently attempted to charge the guest, 31-year-old Alvin Waugh, $10 to use the pool instead of the $5 that Waugh was offering.
“Mr. Chaudhry did not take the money,” authorities said. “There was a verbal argument that ensued after that.”
Apparently Chaudhry demanded that Waugh leave the premises. That’s when the suspect went to grab his gun.
“It sounds like the victim began to antagonize him,” police said. “I don’t know if he knew that he had a gun.”
Waugh shot Chaudhry multiple times and fled to the woods. What happened next?
