A 1956 Porsche could help this woman racer set a new world record

Renee Brinkerhoff is looking to set a world record, and a 1956 Porsche could help her do it. The female race car driver wants to be the first woman to race on all seven continents. To achieve that goal and set the world record, she has plans to race her 1956 Porsche 356A in Antarctica this winter.

Brinkerhoff and her Valkyrie Racing Team have been in pursuit of her dream for quite some time, and have even dubbed the attempt as the Project 356 World Rally Tour. Once Brinkerhoff completes her goal, her Porsche will also make history for being the first classic car to race on all seven continents.

But since there isn’t a sanctioned motorsports racing event on Antarctica, how exactly does Brinkerhoff plan to achieve her goal to finally set the world record?
